Tempted to go find 'bit slippy' roads... for car control practice of course  ... in the interests of road safety

You have a roof to put up??
I do have a roof, and not ashamed to use it if it totally deluges...! SWMBO wouldn't go near it otherwise.... we've been to the Alps camping with it twice :thumbsup (including a 1/2" sized hailstorm in Austria  )

A caterham roof is a very different thing to a elise roof you think an S1 roof is bad you have no idea how much of a faf it is to fit a caterham roof. okay i have a rollcage but the quickest i managed to get it on was 15mnutes and even then i was using pliers to get it fitted.

My roof has been under my bed for the past two years. though a 7 is more civilised then they first seem. if you have a heater fitted it can melt bone it is so hot but only your legs. Also you are sitting/lying next to the gearbox which gets lovely and warm. So the net result is you legs are lovely and warm and you top half freezes. unless you have a duratetec in which case your feet are next to the exhaust and your feet damn near burn. In the vauxhalls and k series the passenger gets their fee set on fire. The suspension is alot softer then you would think and if you have a foam seat fitted it is very comfortable.

Lovely and sunny in Old Deer today. Cold, but put the electric jacket on, and went for a blast in the custard tart.

No snow here in Maidenhead but everyone is bricking themselves about the possibility of .001mm of snow tomorrow.

Hope the planes are not effected so I can get home tomorrow.

snow is thicker now than whats in the photo's, its been snowing on and off since back of 10 but when it has it has been heavy. the gritters have been along the top road 3 times now, must be expecting more through the night.

i went out one year down to haddington to play pool with a mate at the labour club and a couple of hours later we came out seen the snow and i phoned home and was told dont even try to get up the road, couldnt believe i was snowed out because before i went out the gritters had been along the road a few times so thought that the roads would of been fine but no.

Snowprox S952 is the new tyre designed for the British winter. Even without snow, Snowprox outperforms normal tyres when it’s cold. Its silica-rich rubber compound provides confidence inspiring road holding, handling and stability.

Less than 1 inch here, school bus turned up, boys went to school, teachers turned it round to go back as they had closed the School.
