Nice one Paul.
Right folks, what are we doing about a hotel then? Travel Lodge with no bar 12 miles from track or Holiday Inn Express with bar 1 mile from track? Don't want to end up in a different hotel from everyone else, so will wait til I hear what other people want to do before booking.
Cheers,

Don't mind either way - is there a bar near the travel lodge?

5 - 10 mins walk according to the girl at their reception I spoke to the other day. In nearby village.
Jon, has Craig paid for the Holiday Inn yet? It looks like most people are swaying towards the travel lodge so far, so I might just end up booking that if that's what most people want to do. Can you cancel the Holiday Inn booking?

Right, I've stuck with the pikey option since I'm skinto'd at the moment, so have booked a room in the Sedgefield Travel Lodge:
https://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hot ... tel_id=220
I don't mind a wee walk to find a pub! 12 miles from the track, so just need to leave a bit earlier in the morning.
They're still doing the £15 (non-refundable) rate if you folks want to get booked-up.
Cheers,
D

Booked a family room so if anyone is struggling for space then happy to share.
I need the £35 saving for petrol.

Head count for staying at the pikey option?
1. Kenwood (to be confirmed, £15 suits my cheapskate tendencies but I'll go where the majority are for drinking fun faction)
