Just been trying to sort out insurance for this today (got quotes from CCI and MORIS, who both have no problem covering it) and the guy at MORIS said something quite interesting . . .
I enquired about the rather steep quote and he said he could bring the price down if it was another venue, but due to the extreme lack of run-off at Teesside, he couldn't do me a better deal. He said it's probably their most expensive track to insure in the UK due to this

I'm bloody glad I've decided to insure the car for this!
WARNING: Dezzy will be driving like little miss daisy at Teesside! Apologies in advance if I'm holding anyone up.

Just added myself to the list of attendees and looking forward to meeting you all (glad I booked up before reading about the extreme lack of run off!!)
If anyone has a booking for the travelodge they can no longer make use of I will happily buy it off them.

Dez, he's over-exaggerating IMHO
As said before, the day I did was p1shin' doon the whoile day, and the only off I saw was straight on into the gravel trap at the end of the main back straight (the only really quick bit) - no damage done other than a need to sovel some kitty litter out of some orifices

You're on the sofa bed though . . . I'm getting the double bed!
Ross, thanks for the reassurance. I think I've just got trackday virgin nerves!

Pit lane looks effin tight. Will they be moving them to accomodate the fate cars? Im think the EVO lads might be struggling. Unless its just the camera angle?

Dessy is their still room at the inn?
to share with you?
Don't fancy the £50 they are asking now ,that's good beer and fuel money.
