Just took a deposit on the Elise, and if all goes to plan the guy will pick it up on Tuesday
Hopefully not too long before I'm back in a Lotus of some kind!

I only hope it is, house purchase now under the belt, VX sold to fund it in a roundabout kind of way, and 6 months on - still no replacement! Well not true a black Chelsea tractor.
Anyway, best of luck mate!

Bugger
I have a buyer coming up next Friday to buy my Exige. I had your car on my replacement shortlist, leaving some cash to...err...modify it.
Elises are selling like hot cakes right now and I don't want to start querying people and potentially wasting their time until my sale is done and dusted. Knowing my luck, my buyer will back out last minute just as I'm starting to get excited about my next plan.
Hope you get something again soon Ross.

cheers guys!
Sorry Steve - it would have been good to keep it in Scotland! And interesting to see it modified
Had a shed load of interest this time around - I basically had two people agree to buy it straight away - felt bad for the guy i was supposed to show it later on that night! a 63 year old guy called Jim who's owned Lotus' all his life, including the original Elan and currently has an old Europa.
Hopefully come this winter I'll be able to pick something nice up!

mate
As always in these situations, its a bitter-sweet thing. Great you've free'd up the cash you need to, but so sad you've lost out on a Lizzy.
All the best mate, and I look forward to seeing the next incarnation of the 'tron's Lotus
