Yip. I will check with SWMBO and see when I am being taken shopping to the Overgate tomorrow. Should be able to make an escape un-noticed.

Anytime apart from between 11am & 1.30pm is cool with me
I stay near to the top of Blackness Avenue (Hillcrest Road actually - you'll see the Uberbarge and/or the wife's purple Modus outside the door

)

Apparently I have not been paying attention to SWMBO in that when she said we were going to KH on Sunday and would be in town shopping on Saturday... what she really ment (and I failed to understand) was that she REALLY ment was that we were going to KH on Saturday and would be shopping on Sunday!!! Its a tough life being me some days!! Sooooo... can I pop over sometime around 10.30ish and pikey a ticket from ya?

10.30ish is OK - best call me beforehand as I'm sometimes out & about on Sat morns, delivering & collecting the bairns from various clubs

none of which are far from home - in fact I collect at 1015 from the Uni sports centre so that'd be good

Fraid so.. Dont really have any choice in the matter.
Saturday is Mini
Sunday is Elise
Monday is 406
Tuesday is Shogun
Wednesday is Exige
Thurday is 355
Friday is Hilux
Leap year is Land Rover.
Soooo.... if I we had gone on Sunday, as planned, then it would have been different! Buggred if I see a nice Evo tho!!

I think if I had been expecting much then it would have been a bit of a disapointment. It was cool to see the Jetpack man, but he takes 2 1/2 hours to re-fuel and can only be airborne for 30s at a time so it was a blink-and-miss-it type of thing. The vast majority of the manufacturers cars on show were fairly bog standard. The SIDC area had the best of the bunch by far, excluding the Supercar Area where it was nice to see the Zonda and all the Lambos (especially the yellow ex-Rod Stewart Diablo Roadster). Keith Chegwin was the celeb host/commentator/action man and sounded just like he used to sound on Swap Shop all those years ago. Typical KH weather tho made for a muddy mess on anything that wasnt tarmac. It did seem busy tho.
