OK, I need to do the collection sometime before the Siverstone race and sometime after June 4 ... my pref is overnight during the week of 4/6 ... Tuesday is the usual choice, so target June 5/6.

Scotty - thanks, but I suspect the fuel to do the extra mileage to ABZ and back might cost more than the rental for a local one, based on Tom's pricing ;-) (1 day rental = 10 gallons of fuel = 200 miles or so in a van?), and I think it will need to be mid-week rather than weekend.

Jj - would be good to take your van to silverstone instead of the bus, but would need to do the collection earlier.

Ed - that's you signed up as copilot then - you'll need your lifting arms on too - maybe we rope in one more sucker too - calling all LoTRDC racing drivers ...

Cheers,
Robin

OK, date is set as June 5th - Huddersfield and back - aim to arrive there for 10pm. Andy G & Ed have "volunteered" - guys, can you make that date or do I need to press gang some others?

I'll sort a rental van tomorrow.

Cheers,
Robin

OK - well I think we'll only have 3 seats - I don't care who comes so long as they've got their lifting shoes on :-)

It will be interesting to see what it comprises of when you get it back up the road, sounded like a pretty good luckybag!

Yeah, looks like a good deal - I was thinking of getting a van as the TSE support vehicle rather than flogging the bus to death and so I need a second set of tools.

Jj - shame about the stuff you were after :-(

Really? We would need to collect it first I think as it probably won't fit once we've put all the other sh*t in :-)
