This happened after we left the rest of the gang at Newcastlton.
The first few picture depict what happens when you meet a Volvo driver who will not move. I was directly behind

John had to take to the verge or it was a head on the Volvo driver did not stop

mybe just as well....
No damage to the car just a bit of grass in the air intakes , wheels etc , so no harm done . Thankfully I carry the old tow rope for such eventualities so swung into recovery mode again and we were quickly on our way.

That is good news that all ended well. Gosh Pentcaitland International Rescue strikes yet again and Neil "Virgil" saves the day again. No I didn't save virgin

Well they say things happen in three's
no.1 Watersplash incident..... (ask Dezzy

)
no.2 Volvo driving Barstuward incident.......
1st almost head on incident of the day
no.3 Black Ford Focus incident.......
2nd almost head on incident... when the focus pulled out to pass a car turning left without looking. I had a four wheel lock up trying to avoid him.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Came round a corner to find a massive puddle across the entire road (the kind you really don't want to even attempt to get through!). Brian, in front, swerved to the right to get through the shallower bit. I moved over to do the same, but a car came the other way and so I had to stop, roughly in the middle of the road. John came round the corner behind me, didn't realise that the sight of my brake lights actually meant I was stopped

and ended up overtaking me on the inside, half on the grass and half in the very deep puddle!

Our wing mirrors had a close call!
