any of you brake pad changing gurus near Falkirk?
Hello Chaps,
I was otherwise engaged when a few of you got together for the group pad change. I was sorry to miss it because I am keen to learn the ropes from someone who actually knows what they are doing!
This is a plea for a knowledgeable chap to sacrafice a bit of their time and come and help me change my pads. (or I can travel to you no problem!)
In return, you will get large amounts of banter, tea, and biscuits.
Thanks
Bob.

Was hoping to do them anytime before the 24th June Hot Marques evening. I just need to get my pads off Ed first.
I am working like a dog at the moment so it would have to be an evening after 7pm SUN - Thurs, or a Friday Afternoon after 4.00pm, or a Saturday anytime.
Bob.
I could help you out on Tuesday evening or maybe Thursday evening, so if Ed can get the pads to me (and my driving light, if he's not sold it to someone elsebobnitro wrote: I just need to get my pads off Ed first.

Do you have all the required tools and jack etc?

Sounds like a plan is emerging guys.
I am happy to nip up to Brightons as long as Mack is too.
I am afraid that I cannot be in Brightons before 7pm though....... let me know how this suits guys. Also depends on whether Mack can get my pads off Ed.....
Think a nice bottle of wine will be coming Mack's way for this....it seems a bit of a burden on him!
Also depends on whether you supply the biccies with the tea craig

Are you changing front and rear?

Yep, gonna replace both front and rear.
Bob
Bob I'm just round the corner from Craigieb's. Happy to come round and help. I did the pagid's on my 111R myself. If you follow the tips on the techwiki on http://www.seloc.co.uk this will help. If you need a trolley jack, needle nose pliers (to wind rear pistons back), other tools let me know etc etc
Cheers
