So... do the stripes themselves chip?
not especially they are made of sticky back plastic

Now you are asking, I'll offer my opinion ... well you did ask (finally) :D
I am not a big fan of the twin stripe (sorry Ross, DDtB, Ken, Jim et al). If you do go down that route I think that it is a must that they are emphasied/detailed with a black pinstripe. That said, I do kinda like the twin stripes of two complimentary colours similar to the ones Andy has posted in his link. I have no idea which colours would suit your car best, girls or JJ are much better at hat kind of thing :D , but you have a great looking car anyway so don't kill it with something that looks tacky :puke .

I still think that the best use of stripes I have seen is on Mandy's S2. The "single" wide stripe in the contrasting silver really enhances the overall appearance of the car.

I always had a secret fancy for matt black stripes on a black car, so shoomer might not be too far off ;)

Of course if i was ever to get any stripes (    ) it would have to be a matt black car, with polished clear topcoat and 2 luminous green .5" pinstripes over it.

Maybe stripes are on the wane. Premier Engraving can also do a full "wrap" of your car.

How about Chrome??

or Matt Black

Infact.. maybe I will look into this a bit more

I like the single stripe, like Mandy and Mass, but the flames have really got my imagination going. I'm thinking a nice one on the bit just behind the back wheels, on each side, like you're generating some real heat from the tyres!!! :thumbsup Very cool!

Not sure the image transfers over to my Europa too well, tho :(
Once had a '2006 Lotus Europa - bit more power version' but it leaked real bad!
I'm the unluckiest guy in world when it comes to cars, the last 12months being proof of that!! Why couldn't I just love uncomplicated things instead........................?
