Surely, just before it goes completely, one could remove clam, drill a drain hole, really small if you like, and it will dry out..... all will be well.....!

The resistor pack on Joncams car was corroded quite badly as were the internals. by "moisture" do you mean being full to brim with water regularly or do you mean atmospheric moisture...? ...again just hoping that if it's never given a chance again to fill it might help a bit...

I was meaning if the corrosion has started atmospheric mosture , salt laden air if it gets in will gather on the bottom of the fan , ie the resistor pack .Michael wrote:....hmmm....doesnt sound good....

Bloody freezing in mine today without fan or heater, at least with the fan going it circulated lukewarm air. Should really think about fixing it.....

Car just developed similar prob . Fan still works but no hot air its a 111r 04 plate is this the same prob or somthing diff ? dont have air con
