Thanks for the replies guys.

Have spotted what looks like a nice elise on Pistonheads which is in West Lothian and the girlfriend has given the colour the thumbs up. Anyone on here the owner, or knows the car/owner?

Am i the only one worried about the contradiction that has -

"The car is always garaged, and only gets driven on the odd Sunday (weather permitting). "

But has 36000 miles in less than 5 years?

with regards to S2 choice. I had a 111r and did 18k in my first year, using it every day.

Great road car :thumbsup

Ye contrary to popular belief it doesn't always rain in the NE  mostly, but not always.

:welcome along.
I live along the road from you in Fintray and can let you have a spin in both a rover k S1 and a 'yota Exige. Will let you see the difference in power delivery etc. Sure I've seen you out and about BTW.

Thanks Mike, clarkyboy took me out in his racetech the other day and i was quite impressed by the handling. Would be interesting to see what a toyota powered exige feels like. Drop me a message when you are free.

Hopefully (fingers crossed) seen a couple of nice cars but need to get storage arranged for the Lotus as I don't have any more room at the house.

Don't suppose anyone around Aberdeen has or knows of any garages to rent

Hi Neil
Welcome to S_E
I wouldnt rule out an S1 with a hardtop if you have to leave it in the city, so long as you've got somewhere to store the hard top ~ ( it won't fit under many beds like an S2 one will)
cheers Hamish
