I don't think it quite suites the 340R but not bad :D

Some cars really suit a 'classic' style paint job, but generally, they are classic styled cars. You can hardly say there is anything 'classic' or 'retro' about the style of the 240R

I'd give it a go Rich - its your car, and a pretty unique idea to go non-lotus with the scheme :thumbsup

I have a load of the low-tack tape, the stuff they use for backing the SE logo stickers, I'll have a go at getting the shape right when I get the chance and can be bothered. See what it looks like....

Rich why not come up with your own idea / design? Something more complex maybe, wrapped over the car?
I've been thinking and an idea for seeing what it would look like - get ur design on acetate, get an over head projector (type thing), climb up some stairs and project it down onto your car. You can then trace round the design on the car with one of those white board markers. Trace it off the car onto paper and get ur design cut.

That's probably not a million miles from how the Fast 'n' Furious brigade get their car logos wrapped over the cars.

Just a thought :thumbsup

Very similar to a pic I grabbed a couple of years ago, again a foreign Elise

The stripe design on the car in your pic is much nicer tho (pretty much how I'd think about doing it on my car), notice how big a difference the thickness of yellow around the grille makes!! Course, the wheels have to be the same colour of yellow! ;)

Still like the Classic idea, but not sure how to route the design. I'll have a play soon, promise....
