wowsers, i get jittery just looking at the pics, even tho i did a 12,000ft tandem last summer... I'm going to stick my neck out and say it wasn't as much of rush as i had expected it to be.. Yeah, it was clearly great fun but i had more fun once the chute had opened.. I didn't really get the sence of speed during free fall as the ground was such a long way down you couldn't see it getting closer.. Either that or they pulled the cord far too early, even tho it was 30 seconds of freefall they said..

Haven't seen these pics myself for months, so interesting someone else resurrected the thread. Jeez - I am getting sweaty palms looking at them. Haven't jumped since November, which is my longest lay off since I started skydiving - 450 jumps on and it still has capacity to scare me stupid. Training in the vertical wind tunnel at Bedford tomorrow, then off to Empuria again at the end of the month to get back in the groove. Feel like an over excited kid at the thought, which is of course why I do it :D
