That is a damned good car at that price Ross, especially with the useful mods, Nitrons, S160 wheels, and surprisingly, MMC brakes which he must have retro fitted.

I remember sourcing a 111S last year for someone and they were going for £14K.

cheers guys 8)

the only things that are needing done soon (which were obvious) are rear tyres.

looked at the receipt for the fitting of the nitrons, which were done at bell &collvile...
line entry...
"fit nirons - height as low as possible" :!:
Re: the MMC brakes, i looked up a thread on seloc and apparently the guy who had it previously put them on through choice. something to do with the 'track feel' or something... Ive heard they are a bit precarious in the wet. :? That true?

going to keep the stripes - they look sh*t hot in real life.
Also getting a full set of standard wheels (not sure about tyres for them), the standard shockers and a showercape with it.

i thought it was too good a deal to miss out on! :D

MMCs are a bit of a chore on cold wet mway nights as the have little or no bite . I generally just keep the warm with a light foot on them now and again.

Sanjoy /manual merc slr automatic braking system installed
