Okay; as promised, I'll book the curry for Thursday the 22nd, this Thursday, therefore trying to firm up on a definitive diners list over the next couple of days.

(After last year, I'll also book some taxis to get us there... )

List below - Let me know of any additions / deletions

Ross
Robin
Andy G
Campbell
Alistair
Stu
Paul G
Kelvin
Malcolm
AliC
ScottyC [bed/car donor willing]
tut
Mike Scib
Benny
Clarkie
GeorgeG
Kinger

That's 17 people - Mr Boag's looking doubtful for the curry, I understand?

I'll book dinner for 20:30hrs as per last year - Probably book the taxis for 20:15, as it isn't far away.

For those who haven't been before, the restaurant is -

Cheshire Tandoori,
45 Chester Road,
Northwich,
Cheshire
CW8 1HG

01606 871040

With the splitters ( :P ) staying in Wales on the 23rd, I assume those of us staying that night in Sandiways will sort eating arrangements on the day?

(I'll have a look at what's local...)

Looking forward to seeing everybody :cheers

Ross,

I'm afraid I don't know if I'll make it either as I'm not leaving Aberdeen until lunchtime and I don't know exactly how long it will take me to get there. Worst case I'll meet up for beers later.

Cheers

There's a Chinese a few doors down from the hotel and I am pretty sure I met the owner in the pits last time I was at OP. It may be a crap Chinese, of course, no idea ....

SE on Tour can build or trash any reputation in less than one evening.

That too, could be in the Northwich Guardian come end of the month ;-)

Okay - Table for 16 now booked for 20:30 on Thursday 22nd under my surname (Taylor).

The 16 are:

Ross
Robin
Andy G
Campbell
Alistair
Stu
Mac
Kelvin
Malcolm
AliC
ScottyC
tut
Mike Scib
Benny
Clarkie
GeorgeG

...but they're pretty flexible at the restaurant, so if there's a couple of diners extra / less , I'm sure they'll cope. :)

Not many people know this, but the Guardian actually broke the Watergate story before Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford.
