I've just been given permission to attend the French Frolic but, unfortunately, the last space seems to now have been taken.
I've emailed Paul to ask to be informed of any cancellations - but if you hear of any could you let me know :thumbsup

Kev, we still got a month before the trip. Be prepared!

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Chaps, not sure if it has been mentioned this year yet, but you may want to check which credit card you have registered against your toll Telepeage Liber-t badge thingy. My card had expired before the last trip and I had to phone to have the updated card details added.
Stewart from Last Year wrote:I tried emailing a couple of weeks ago, but did not receive a response.

I decided to give them a call on 00 33 9708 08 709. It is one of these push button automated systems. I didn't have a clue which of the 4 options to choose, so I just waited and a real person answered after the 4 options spooled through for a 2nd time.

I spoke to two nice ladies (in English). The first one put me through to another member of staff as soon as I mentioned that I wanted to update my CC details. The 2nd lady spoke good English and took a note of my details after I had confirmed my badge number, name and address. Took less than 2 mins. Fingers crossed that it has worked, no reason to believe that it wont have.

I am now good right up to FF10 :D
My badge worked fine when I arrived although on the last toll it wouldn't register and I had to reverse out of the stall  and go through the manned booth where the operator simply swiped my badge and I was on my way. Not sure if the battery is on the way out? Find out soon :D

The one from Calude's post below. They were really quick at getting back to me. :thumbsup

Regarding the process, it looks pretty much forward. All you guys need to do is:
- sending an e-mail, UK language being no prob, to
agencecom.senlis@sanef.com
- with on top your Sanef Customer number
- your Address
- your Credit Card Number
- your Expirity Date (well, I mean the card's one )

Change will then be made by their service, seems to be quite routine.

I reckon you better do it now, as process time might be worst in the summer.

I hope this helps all you nice Scots, if not (not Sanef or other issues), please shout!

See you soon guys !

Re: FFX - Frolic 2010 - *Euro Insurance*

Post by Stewart » Wed Jun 02, 2010 10:49 pm

Quick heads up for anybody driving in Europe.

Last week I sent a letter to CCI to advise them of my Euro trackdays. I picked this up from the policy that you must advise them in advance. They responded by email earlier today. They also kindly pointed out that unless I advise them in advance of the countries and dates that I am travelling, I would only be covered 3rd party.

I checked my policy and it does indeed state that certain cover will not apply unless pre-notified.

Perhaps you were already aware of this, but I missed it.

I have standard pads on my Exige plenty life left in them
but are they any good for FF ?
My budget says keep them on but my heart say get rid of, especially for this week.
Don't think i'm hard on brakes on track but don't want it to spoil things if their not up to the job.

My standard pads on my exige only lasted 7k miles. Pagids did more like 11k.

On hot days they will get chewed up even faster so I would change them, you dont want to miss out on track time trying to get them changed.
Might be an idea to get the geo checked. My car was 9months old before I got Ronnie of CLCM to sort it and it transformed the car! :thumbsup
