Lotus has a track record of being able to really keep things quiet as long as they want it to. If you think of the introduction of the Elise S2, you might remember that it was there without a warning. Even the dealers were surprised at that time.

Several Lotus mules have been photographed over time, some looking like an Esprit and some looking like 'something else'.

I would not be surprised if the shape of the Eagle would be totally differnt to what we've seen up till now. As said, Lotus are masters in disquise if it comes to introducing cars. They decide what is brought out to the general public, all this spy stuff is probably being laughed at in the factory :)
