circa £100 between the years. will post specs, in the meantime wouldn't mind comments on this... I have been given a price but curious to see what SE thinks first.

Is a Medium the right size for you?

Edit; going by the above buy the 08, you won't notice any difference.

if medium is 17 to 18 inches then yeah.

ps. I realise the above is a contradiction in terms but I don't like shopping on ebay. Too many scammers, unknowns and crap.

Ok well Evans Cycles had it listed at £449 but is sold out so there is a half pint of shandy in the post to the first person who can find me one for the same price or cheaper :mrgreen:

Ok, now to the really serious stuff! What colour should I get?

Red or Silver, bearing in mind I have two silver cars so I would be colour coordinated and everything or is red more dangerous?

If evans have them in stock elsewhere they can order them up to the glasgow store for you to try, think it costs you a tenner but you get it back when you buy the bike and they will let you take it out to the car park at xscape to try it for size etc.

Id def go with the specialized it looks like good spec for the price and will more than do everything you say you want it for.

As far as frame size goes, usually you can ride one of 2 sizes, unless your a short ass like me, and its just a matter of seeing which feels best for you so its worth trying them out to see.
