Well, I think we can all agree, that's MMC f*cked then

Graeme - who knew a random visit east with a mate 8 years ago would lead to the odyssey that it did? I remember speaking to you, with me looking characteristically scruffy, tentatively about the cheapest Elise in the showroom, cold off the street. An Aston customer came in to speak about picking up his car and you asked him if he minded waiting while you dealt with this customer - that impressed me! After getting me out for a test drive in the car that day, a week or two later, the deal was done.

That's the Elise I still own. Says it all really.

In my dealings with anyone in the car trade prior to and post dealing with Graeme, there's been nobody who's had that mix of enthusiasm, honesty and banter - plus, he's bloody good at separating you from your cash! If my chat there is a little purple, it's purely because if he'd been a little less accommodating that day, I'd likely have bottled out of buying an Elise (the Shugmobile was out of my initial budget - somehow, he made it affordable) I'd not have come across SE and not had 8 years of banter, memories and laughs - as well as meeting some really good mates along the way and even changing career!

G mate, whatever you do following MMC, I think you know you'll have a ready customer base for anything Lotus sewn up!

Thanks for 'helping' me get into an Elise, best car I have owned!

With a bit of luck you'll be able to catch Graeme around his new coffee machine at some point ;-)

The very best of luck Graeme. To sell Lotus cars, would be a dream for for me,and It must be something really special for you to decide to move on to other things. Even though i have never bought from you also, you have always had the time to chat to me. The showroom wont be the same. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :cheers

Best of luck Graeme. MMC will find you hard to replace, you'll probably find MMC a lot easier to replace :D

You have sold me more cars than anyone else, no mean achievement

Looking forward to seeing what you do next, just make sure you get an Espresso machine next time.

Costa put great auto-machines in to some Premierinns...get one one of those in, Graeme, and you might just manage to sell me something as well (probably coffee ;-))
