My plan is to use an offset dowel but with a slot for a screwdriver in the top so you can alter the offset by turing the pin then re-clamp with the bolt. Might even look at driling another hole in the end of the camshaft so I can fit 2 pins to reduce the chance of slipping. Even if it did slip the worst case effect would be to alter the timing by a couple of degree's max, should be no chance of clatter-clatter-bang.

Might not be but its the alloy VVC one so I have some scope to open up the inlet a bit and smooth out the flow as best I can.

I don't have the answer to that, as I don't know of another car using it.... :lol: IT probably can though, as you hear of power gains with slapping DTH TB's on lightly ported heads (and the area of those added up will be more than 56mm!)

It probably won't hurt (betcha it's a cnut in traffic though!)

All easy enough if you have the materials & tools to hand (thanx HM Govt!)

It was much cheepness off fleebay, £48.. worth a go. The plastic one is sticking so its already a cnut in traffic..
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Your welcome to borrow my carbide burrs that I have been porting with if you want, they make short work of ali and are easy to control. Once I have finished that is.

It's going on e-bay as soon as I can be bothered to get it bead blasted (More lager) some dope will buy it.

Lets face it the other options are door-stop, anchor or blunt instrament...

Finaly got my grubby paws on the 56mm throttle body. It has aleady been modified by previous owner, looks realy good though.

It needs a breather inlet which is the lower hose on the plastic body. The mould is there but it isnt drilled out. Will have a go at drilling it out and let you know how it goes.
