Can vouch for a removable wheel kit ! I'm 6ft7 (and a bit of a chunk ) so it really helps ! The removable kit from demon tweeks worked well for me and was miles cheaper than other places. It gives about 40 mm space and getting in and out much easier.

I have had the elise for years and never noticed this as being a problem - until this thread, then driving the car at the weekend, and noticing that I have a gear stick / knee interface issue..... thanks for bringing this to my attention

Re: 5th gear, long legs.
That's ultimately why I didn't go removable because you need a Momo or similar steering wheel to fit the boss kit. The standard wheel doesn't fit, I really like the standard one hence why I went for just a 40mm spacer. (which also had to be adapted slightly to fitcaptain wrote:Ta, does that kit re-use the oem wheel?Muzzaa72 wrote:Can vouch for a removable wheel kit ! This is what mine looks like with the spacer.

Re: 5th gear, long legs.
Oh Ye mine came with the momo lotus wheel , not sure if that was because the car is a bell and colvill 140 or whether someone has swapped it out over the years .... Sorry about that
