How did they feel on the way home? First time on track you'll really notice the difference.
Running the std suspension with my aggressive geo (thrown out by the change in ride height) I was pleasantly surprised. Turn in was still pretty good but the rear felt a bit loose, maybe the rear camber or the toe settigs which will be out a little.
Weird driving a standatd car again, exhaust, induction, suspension, but still fantastic fun, shows you can't go far wrong with a std car for purely road use.
Cheers,
Ali
P.S. Rear damper was fine, flew through MOT today (apart from number plate improperly secured (gaffa) and dodgy headlight alignment.

That's good about the damper - I was a bit on the worried side when I noticed it on Saturday.
They felt really good on the way home but I think the current settings are a touch too soft for the A048's as I had a bit of rubbing on some of the bends.
Had a moment just out side Balmoral when things went a little sidewards on some loose gravel - Nothing serious, more like "did you feel that" type of thing.
Will push a little harder next time out, but a combination of new roads and some damp patches made me a little wary. So excellent roads right on your door step though, I now know why there are so many Elise and Scooby oweners in ABZ.
Cheers

Yes, Hurricane is for sale but Gareth has first option. I'll clean it up this week so should be ready by the weekend. Plastic inlet is cracked and the ducting is worn at one point where it rubs. I'll tape these up (gaffa demon) and they are not visible when fitted and wouldn't affect performance.
I also have the S2 Janspeed SS Exhaust for sale (round tailpipes, so suits 111S or 135R). Around 15K miles in betweeen std. and JV exhausts.
It's currently away getting tidied up (bead blasted and tailpipes polished).
Cheers,
Ali

I'm not too sure, it'll be difficult, but as I said, lots of fun trying.Yeah and I'll still see you in my mirror and say "Christ - that's a std S2, I should be miles away by now"

No worries, I should stop mucking about and buy myself a new one.Yes, Hurricane is for sale but Gareth has first option
