Thinking long and hard about it!!!!!!
Buy and fit a Audi.
What a welcome back to the Lotus scene that would be! 8)
Gareth, having just bought a house and looking at Lotus around the 7k mark, money is not readily flowing out of my arse right now!!!!
If an Audi engine happened to be crashed into our garden, and the owner didn't notice me pinch it out of his car, then i could probably get together the couple of K for all the other extras needing upgraded!

Dave

At a guess, that could be the yellow S1 with hard top that was sitting at Hillview Motors in Fintray for the last year? He was looking for nearly double that - wonder why it didn't shift :?

I guess it didnt shift for exactly that reason! 14k - errmmmmm no way!

I am now counting on Iain putting in a cheeky bid, realising that he wants to sell it onto me and not make much if any profit and also do some groudn work to make sure it is a sound car, bar the obvuious paint work defect!!

Dave - 6 minutes to go!

Well it probably wont be there any longer if it is being auctioned - some trader will pick it up thinking he can make a buck!
