Spotted a Vauxhall Cavalier Convertible on my morning commute. Looked almost dainty amongst the traffic - despite is massive bling alloys which gave it a ground clearance a defender would be proud of.

Not at £1500, with no NCT (MOT), crusty rear arches, mouldy interior, and a potential VRT bill of £170 outstanding...(!)

There was a Mk1 Cav at the auction I was at on Saturday - Went for just over £1k, which didn't seem bad, as it was a solid old bus - Not sure about the MX5 wheels it was sporting! :?

Ah, the mk1 Cavalier. That's what my first car was, at the age of 14. Paid £40 for it. Baldy tyres, rwd and a farm to play on. Happy days

Very unusual.. Just saw a Bugatti EB110 GT in Forfar. Colour was Bugatti Blue and it had an expensive looking BUG number plate so I assume it was genuine. Never seen one before

Looked like..

I presume that it's the same one that will be at Alford and only Facebookers will be able to see the picture.

That's the one. BUG 55
Not sure if that is how I would spend upwards of £350k but I guess the chances of meeting another one on the road are slim :)

That's one of my old school faves! But yes, now days there's more attractive options.

Yup, my Dad is an old school pal of the father - who recently sold his ex-Duncan Hamilton/Le Mans C-type to a chap in Oz, flown by cargo plane :blackeye

Saw that on Saturday just outside Perth- took me by surprise!

I have also seen recently what I think was a Ferrari Mondial Convertible in Edinburgh (horrible looking thing with wierd proportions), and a very early 911 in BRG (looked lovely and delicate) on the Forth bridge.
VX220 2.2 - Gone
BMW 335d Touring F31- Fastest car on the road
MINI Cooper 1.5- More fun than the BMW
