I'm gonna be really annoying and square here folks, but please remember AMP3 is a short TD and quite busy.
Last year there were 2 red flags in the space of 2 hours and if we get a repeat of that, then I don't think we'll want to run the day again - it's not worth the bad feeling when people have paid good money and get a seriously curtailed event. Think also of those paying big coin for supercar pax runs. Mass even went to the trouble of giving people a blat round the backroads when we ran out of tracktime thanks to the stoppages.
I know you're just having a bit of banter, but remember that the experience (and talent
) levels on this day vary massively and there are an amount of new track drivers attending - it's not about racing and it's not about who's fastest - it's about learning the car and having fun without buggering up the day for yourself and others.
Sorry to sound like an old tw@t, but it needs said - the banter is great fun, but it's an open forum.
