- I had a word with Craig yesterday about the barge boards and no warranty worry for that particular part. Some of the GTN stuff does but not that. I'm going to hold off until I see it on your car before deciding, to be honest I think its going to make the car look much better anyway but it's nice to see it in the flesh first.

Very happy so far, having driven the pre-MY12 car I can really appreciate all the improvements in the car, really small things but adding it altogether the difference is staggering. The gear change is very slick now, reverse is a bit tight but then the car is new.

st can't wait to get it run in now. Oh and the exhaust, lovely bark on startup and a big improvement over the sports exhaust.

George was right I did get a quote at around £300 I think it was but that was with a join. Tried the guy MMC use and another in Falkirk. I now have another one to try in Cumbernauld that I only got the other day who is supposed to be good and hopefully they can do a wrap in one bit. Others have had it done elsewhere so the stuff is available and an easy wrap at that as just a square.

Only ignored this post for 48 hours or something and look what happens! Loving the later posts with the barge boards and the costs also. Looking forward to seeing yours Justin. My one minor concern will be as somebody says over on Lotus Talk that when the door is open it will be like a shelf sticking out to be stood on. But as mainly me driving by myself that doesn't seem insurmountable! I do like the whole SR look and have now made my mind up to get it done especially as red and many of the bits already done like 2012 black trim, black lettering and wing mirrors.

Justin what I am considering is another Evora but a second hand S in red

and full story will come clear in a week or two possibly when you drop yours off.

Far be it for me to spoil somebody else's thunder. I've just rejoined my ship offshore so will be another 3 weeks before back ashore.

Nice one Al. Must admit I was getting very tempted by the black MY12 IPS S that Murrays had, but it looks like its gone. Probably a good thing really for my bank. Ha!

SAJ, you're new Evora is lovely mate, congratulations I think you made the right choice. I've never been too keen on the red for some reason but with the black roof etc. it really looks superb. The interior looks great too, definitely a step up from the earlier models.
I've got the MY12 gear change cables on my Evora now, really makes a difference, it's slick as anything now.

AL, I've been up to the guy in Cumbernauld your talking about. I was considering getting my SLK wrapped so went up to check out their work. What I saw there was some really nice work with attention to detail. They would have been my choice to use but I took the easy option and bought an Evora instead

I've been looking at the barge boards too. Be interested to see them in the flesh.

Was the guy in Cumbernauld Adam Sharpe and business Totally-Dynamic? My eldest put me onto it as somebody who went to Dunblane High within a few years of him so not yet called or visited.
