As far as suppliers go, I hadn't actually looked into quotes or anything yet as I have been quite busy at school, but if PHILIP can get us good quality gear at low prices, Im all for it! I have one request though, I want pink!
I should have a t-shirt by Friday for Tut Towers....so if anyone wants to see the this logo on a t-shirt come and take a lookie. Also, got scottyc some stickers for his 2-11.....scotty take some pics so folks can see what it looks like on a car.

I am still waiting for some more pics from my mate. I went to see him tonight and he had done a few more options. The small font height and longer url wording is not so good if you get stuff embriorderededed (is that how you spell that). 5mm height is about the minimum it can be to retain a quality stitch.....or something like that?!

I'll ask him to try a lighter black/grey for the SCOTTISH word to see what it looks like....Mr Flop.

Errrr.....what else......pink stuff! Kiddies stuff...

He says 'I can get anything you want'.....so I guess that means pink hoodies etc etc!

Anyone else got any more designs?

Jen: if my mate ends up doing it can you help me sort out orders/payment/delivery etc?

Sounds great! No probs Andy. We can discuss it more on Sat! I'l make up a list of stuff and can put it next to the tshirt so if anyone would like to see a product available to buy that is not on the list, they can add it to it. :thumbsup

Back to font, I think 5mm is too small a font size anyway. That's pretty small. I think a grey Scottish would look good whith the blue actually. It'll stand out from the blue, but won't be too harsh on the eyes. See if we can get a few versions from him, with different shades and sizes of the font so we can see in relation to the logo?

ACE!!!!!!!

PS-Sorry, I had in my head your mates name was Paul!! Oops! Sorry, Philip.

Put "Scottish" in the modern Elise / Exige font, instead of the Lotus-esque one, and it could be a winner. Think the font I'm referring to is used in Team SE stuff already?

We did have a quick look at that last night and it looked awful. My mate is busy this am but if anyone wants to try it and post it up for others to see then go for it. I should be posting up this afternoon some more options...same design but different fonts for SCOTTISH. The current font is the Lotus font used by Lotus on their stuff. One of the other options has a more modern font for scottish and it looks really good. Will get back with that later.

Some more options from Philip.
Scottyc put his stickers on the 2-11 today and had one point that the car wasn't prominent enough. Having looked at the the car pic on my phone I tend to agree. Hopefully he will post the pic tomorrow.
(By the way....just cos scotty has a sticker doesn't mean we wont be getting your designs up for the vote....anyone got any more designs....)

Your mate seems to know what he's doing Andy :)

For me I like the top one but mainly for the reason that I like the font elises.com is in.

:withstupid

The other fonts for Elises.com don't look too clear. I think the bottom 2 look like good variations if the font was the same as the 1st one.

He sure does. I have a motto when I want something done better than I can do it.....'Get a man in' :thumbsup
The two fonts in the top image are both the ones used by Lotus. I think the top fonts one is my favourite tbh. I'll need to see if he can thicken up the car part of the logo and then draw a line on it there and get some voting on the go. He works for himself and is up to his armpits with work at the mo. Poor lad working till really late and in really early.....and then I ask him to make minor changes  If you're keeping tabs on the post Philip...well done....good lad :thumbsup

Great effort by Philip again. I agree with comments above about number one, although number three works for me too. :)

Mmmmm.....maybe blue on red isn't the best combo?! Would it not fit on the spoiler ends?

We'll see what the t-shirt looks like on the weekend.....and then I'll buy Philip beer....and then I'll ask for final tweaks :thumbsup

For those who haven't met me before I'll be on track with a blue S2 Y781....t-shirt will be in the car so feel free to check it out.....(If my buddy gets it in time!)
(By the way...I noticed on the rules thingy for TT/SIDC that you have to wear long sleeves when on track!)

Top comeback from the designer, agree with the above aswell, slightly thicker / stronger outline for the car in logo one, three is a strong contender aswell.

I think the last one is excellent aswell but is a slightly more commercial package, it wouldnt look out of place on tesco merchandise or as a massive corporate design for somebody like british athletics (if that makes sense). Maybe a bit stiff and professional tho for a bunch of rubber shreddin petrol heads.
