Some sort of acrimonious split at THB Egger Laswon means that CCi (Competition Car Insurance) are now using Richard Egger as their brokers. Sounds like if you're an existing CCI policyholder (or have been within the last 12 months) R.E. can't provide a quote.

Anyways, just been quoted for the liz at £600, with LoT doscount and Walshy Day discount. Included are 4 'nominated' trackdays. Any more than that will cost £50 per trackday - that's a huge saving over the stand-alone trackday cover you can get from them (0.005% of the value of the car). Track excess is £2k.

All in all, pretty chuffed, and that's with all head mods declard and parking the car on the street
