well, it has not been quiet this week-end,
3 Elises as far as I have heard : Dave with alternator probs, an Irishman loose brake caliper ( sorted) and another Elise with wheelbaring.

I was there on Saturday and it was the busiest I've ever seen it.

Good fun though. 8)

Well I'm really pi$$ed off with the Ring today - I was going to go next month, but now they've reduced the time that the track's open so I don't reckon it's worth going now. :(

I was there last sunday (11th) and it was well busy... saw a gaggle of s2 Exiges and a silver S1 with a honda and a few S1 elises...

if you were there I was the green s1 exige going not very quickly

If anyone is going over and wants help with their lines I can recommend Oliver Grams (http://www.fahrer-training.de/) as a guide/instructor. Very nice chap and he does help. Got my times down by 25 secs or so... mind you as I was starting at 10.10 there was room for improvement.

A Veritas RS3

The RS3 was a 2001 concept built around a six-litre V12 borrowed from BMW - a 670bhp unit in a car weighing just under a ton. Veritas was a small German race car manufacturer formed in the 1940s that went bust in 1952, but the name was revived for the boat-like, definitely-a-bit-phallic RS3.

Actaully it was Sunday I was there too. Saturday was the VLN race, I lost track of days.

You must have seen a rabble of evo's too. Mine was the silver one with all the rediculous stickers on it that got too much attention from the noise police who wouldn't let me on. :x 100.8dB at 2800rpm which I though was pretty good.

I just sneaked on quietly half an hour later and was fine for the rest of the day. :thumbsup
