exhaust question

Post by twisted2fit » Thu Aug 20, 2009 3:11 pm

hi all

I am in the process of buying an Exige s2 na. The dealer says its got a janspeed aftermarket exhaust that lies somewhere between a stage 1 and a stage 2. I suspect hes talking about a roadsports? anybody heard a 111r or exige with one of these?....i gather the larini is the pick of the lot but just wondering if the janspeed is any good?

Id be contacting Tubular. Jim is regarded as one of the best and is based in aberdeen. Give him a call and he will be able to tell you what options he has for you.

But he's asking about an exhaust already on a car, Craig mate...

I'm sure someone will be able to advise from personal knowledge, but Janspeed tend to make decent kit.

I have a Janspeed Roadsport on my Elise, although it's a K series car. Very happy with it - looks good, unobtrusive when cruising, noisy when you want it to be, good quality and came with a lifetime warranty. Not as fashionable as a Larini or 2bular but does everything I want it to do and I wouldn't class it as inferior to a Larini in any way.

However.....I know that Paolo who posts on here ordered one for his 111R and had to send it back as it was hanging so low off the bottom of the car. Not sure if this was just a one off or if that's how they fit on the 'yota powered cars.
