Post by weemark » Fri Aug 21, 2009 6:12 pm

Hi all,

Been using this forum for quite a while to find out trackday dates, photos of sessions etc, just never signed up! haha
Some of you im sure will have seen me at knockhill. I have a silver clio 172 for track use and a 182 clio for road use :). Hopefully at some point an exige will be on the cards

Welcome to Scottish_Elises Mark, hope that you get your Exige in the near future, but a couple of Clio Sports will set you up well for when you move on.

We have a couple of members with Clio 172's, and they can give a lot of our Elises a hard time around KH.

I think I've seen you a few times at KH.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

How do you find the 172 on track? I had one years ago, (odyssey blue Series 1 172). Was a great drivers' car, huge amount of fun, but mine was forever breaking down (electrical gremlins mostly).

Thanks for all the welcomes guys :).
Dominic : So far both the 172 and 182 have been fine ! - had the 182 for over a year with no breakdowns. :)

:welcome Fellow Clio 172 owner!!! Looks like yours is exactly the same as mine!! Is it the bluey silver colour? Putting it on track again at the Amp3 day. Last time was at the LoT day. Front two tyres ruined and shockies burst!! Alan was going to put coilovers on it for next time but funds don't allow as our lotus fund has to increase to get it back on the road this year!

See you next week probs!!

Jen
