Chaps Im a bit confused.
My S2 exhaust is blowing and I think its the flexi pipe (its a bog standard exhaust)
To repair it do I...
1. replace the "flexi downpipe" with something like this:
http://www.eliseparts.com/products/show ... -downpipe/
or can I replace it with this instead?
2.
http://www.eliseparts.com/products/show ... -flexi-s2/
They seem different shapes to me.
anyway, sorry that I havent actually taken the undertray off to check but when the flexi pipe goes, whats the usual replacement? I dont want to do anything modified just for the sake of it unless it cheaper/easier/better. Oh yeah and the MIL is showing which I think will be the blowing exhaust issue anyway.
Thanks

The first one is the standard flexi pipe, the second repalces the CAT (Illegal and will not pass an MOT)
if you are staying stadnard then the first one is what you need. It's also worth checking the heatshield and gettign a replacement if required.

Cool thanks, still don't understand how the cat bypass is a one to one and the flexi replacement is a two to one but I guess this doesn't matter if I need just the flexi replacement.
