Dining Room clearance - free to good homes - GONE

Post by campbell » Fri Jun 03, 2011 2:18 pm

Lot 1 - Rubberwood table and 4 chairs

Round table, 1 metre diameter. Very solid, in very good condition for age ;-) A sturdy table for family meals and has withstood our two terrors remarkably well.

4 matching chairs, non-upholstered. On a couple, the lower spars could do with re-gluing to tighten them up but this is a 2 minute fix to make as-new (have done a couple in the past).

Note - if the above item doesn't go in a few days I'll be putting it on eBay.

Lot 2 - foam underlay

A little under 20 sq metres, foil-backed so water-resistant and insulating too. Been used under our lounge carpet but it looks in great shape. Could be good for floored lofts, for example.

Lot 3 - worktop offcuts

Couple of B&Q "basalt slate" dark grey bullnose 600mm worktop offcuts, approx sizes 500mm and 900mm.

Lot 4 - well not really a lot as such, but I have various offcuts of scrap timber, including "fourby" (4 inch by 2 inch) and some plating and facing lengths. If you need something for packers, firewood, whatever (!), get in touch and I'll see what I actually have.

PM or email me (campbell underscore ford, domain hotmail dot com) if interested in any of the above, or if you want to discuss, then call me on 07768 813031.

"Buyer" collects by default, although we might be able to arrange a hostage exchange or SE Pony Express of course.

PS - as you might guess this marks the end of our recent Kitchen-Diner project, thank GOD. However we learned a lot so if you are thinking of doing something similar, feel free to get in touch to hear about our experiences! Also very happy to recommend our builder and installer..
