Well, after two ½ years of Elise ownership, the sad day has come and I have just waved good bye to what has been the best car I have ever owned. Unfortunately I couldn’t use it enough and I wanted it to go before it became an ornament. While I am gutted, I am so glad I have had the opportunity to experience a car that reminded what driving is all about and every time you turn the key, you genuinely feel special. While I hope to get back in a Lotus at some point – the bug has definitely bitten – I know nothing will compare to my standard S1. :cry:

Just saw your location! My folks used to live in the borders when i had my 111r, and i drove around there a lot!

You will miss it - although possibly not till the spring :thumbsup
