How closely are you keeping to the car rules here - one member attended a day, earlier this year (listed as a Hot Marques) to find some pretty tatty cars (described as rat-boy astras!) with some pretty tatty driving? I don't think anyone is too worried about the type of car, but if you're letting the hot-hatch day shed runners on, then perhaps not the best place for less experienced drivers?

:withstupid Went to a "hot marques" earlier this year and was shocked at the standard of cars.
To be fair the driving standards were ok.

We have not run any specific Hot Marques track events this year; we have run Car trackdays instead.
The types of cars can vary on these events, however we are very strict with driving standards and anybody seen to be driving inappropriately or dangerously is removed from the track immediately.

I've seen more stoppages in the 2 hr sessions this year than full days at other tracks. Spent the whole of tye last session trying to avoid some twat in Black VX220 who obviously had no mirrors and the marshals wouldn't Blue flag him even witha string of cars sat on his chuff.
