Just a heads up about the Europa - now SOLD!

Post by SAJ » Fri Feb 01, 2013 1:13 pm

For anyone who hasn't been following the various V6 Exige threads, I am going to be selling the Europa as a result of ordering the new Exige. The car isn't going up for sale yet but probably about March time.

I wanted to give the SE group a heads up about it first as it would be nice for the car to remain in Scotland, the plan is to hand it in to MMC and leave the selling to them but if anyone is interested before I do that then do give me a shout.

Some details:

225bhp Europa S

1st registered (Lawrence Hoy) 01/03/2007
2nd owner (Mark Lacey) 19/11/2009

Now - about 38500 miles, Just taxed again for a year next due 31/12/2013

MOT

1st: 10/03/2010
2nd: 26/04/2011
3rd: around about 25/04/2012 - couldn't find the current certificate but will get another from the garage
4th: due April - don't see any issues in it passing as when it was in for its recent service I asked them to check if there was anything that looked as if it needed replacing.

There is a bit more but I need to look out the rest of the paper work, I also still have the stock Billie shocks too, included in the sale

TYRES

Currently on winter tyres which have been on for the third time so are due for the bin when they come off in March.
The summer tyres are Federal 595 RS-R which have only had about 1000 miles on them before winters tyres went on.

ACCIDENT (July 2010)

Lady reversed her truck into the passenger side front of the car. Insurance fully repaired car:

New Front Clam
New Front left and right headlight
Front bumper, front half of the clam and side sills covered in paint protection film, so no stone chip issues now.

Car fully re-sprayed from blue to orange during the repair, total factory finish, car was stripped down completely, paint protection film on front half of the clam, front bumper and lower side sills so no stone chip issues - full pictures of the complete strip down and stages it went through below

I've tried to be as complete as possible with the information, I have most of the paper work for the work done on the car. I can most likely get every bit of paper work details from the garage as I've used MMC for 90%+ of the work ever done to the car.

Car has never been tracked by me. Most upgrades were done to get it track ready but just never got around to it.

If I've missed anything just let me know - Pictures embedded below, if you can't see let me know and I'll send direct links.

I'll be open to sensible offers.

Cheers, Saj

Hope it stays within SE. A fantastic car for someone, I know that every time a part has needed replaced Saj has researched the options and upgraded rather than going for a straight replacement. If I didn't have one already I would be first in line :thumbsup
And to use the old saying - the only one in that colour -anywhere!!

Well left the car with Brandon today after the LEGS meet, very positive response from those that seen the car in the flesh. :)

Car sold today, I'll let the new owner announce who they are should they wish to disclose it. :D

Really happy it has stayed in the SE fraternity.

Whoever they are, they've bought an absolute stunner! In my Top 5 SE cars, I reckon. Oh, now that would make a good thread...

It will :D I have no doubts, and in the unlikely case it doesn't I'll make sure it is made fully compliant - nothing to worry about. :thumbsup
