Carden Motor Company - Aberdeen
Their website says they are a Lotus/Honda specialists: http://cardenmotorcompany.com/index.htm
I have a Honda also and they are quite close to where I live, so this could prove rather convenient.
Anyone here use them regularly? Feel free to PM if you prefer...
Thanks

Didn't they used to be the Lotus dealer in Broomhall road, before Village Motors in Cults, and John Clark Seat had the Lotus franchise?
Re: Carden Motor Company - Aberdeen
The guy I bought my previous Esprit GT3 was from Aberdeen and used them to service it for the 3 years he owned it. I also used them for servicing it during the 18 months I owned it and had no problems. The guy who bought it from me had it serviced by Lotus at the factory and we kept in touch and he never came back with horror stories of things neglected over the previous 4 years.
They were also really good when I agreed to sell it: The day before, the new owner was flying up from Norfolk to drive it away I started it in my garage "for old times sake"... and it burst an oil cooler and oil pipe.. and they managed to collect it and sort it out with a bit of speed.

The Broomhall Road dealer was slightly further out, frontage onto Broomhall road and access to garage from the street to the North. Timeline they were in operation after Village Garage and before Seat (2002 when I bought my first Elise from them).Fluoxetine wrote:Didn't they used to be the Lotus dealer in Broomhall road, before Village Motors in Cults, and John Clark Seat had the Lotus franchise?
Carden a completely separate outfit I think.
All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.

ive just had Lindsay's Civic fixed there. Mark (I think the boss) was really good to deal with.
I would use them again if it wasn't the other side of town.

Super, thanks Scott. This is extremely useful as they're not even five min walk from my door, for some reason I never used them so far.
