'Mailing' alloy wheels and tyres
As above - booked on line for collection tomorrow morning with Paisley Freight - their packaging requirements suggest that alloy wheels should be completely covered in cardboard & then bubble wrapped. Does the same apply to wheels with tyres or is it just a case of protecting the wheel faces?

I've used then before and protected the wheel faces with cardboard/bubble wrap combo and wrapped the whole wheel/tyre with black plastic bags taped together.

I used Paisley for wheels and tyres and they were just bubble wrapped.

This. Decent size / quality bin liners can almost swallow a wheel with tyre (16/17") if careful. Then just lots of tape.Mikie711 wrote:I've used then before and protected the wheel faces with cardboard/bubble wrap combo and wrapped the whole wheel/tyre with black plastic bags taped together.

Re: 'Mailing' alloy wheels and tyres
Did they collect today then? Last time I used Paisley Freight they didn't show up for the three booked collections which caused untold amounts of inconvenience. Ended up having to drive the wheels twenty miles to the depot to send them out. They turned up to collect them two days later after having already shipped them for me
Appreciate they just subcontract the work so they don't have direct control of it, but their customer service was absolutely abysmal.

I have used various couriers. Paisley tend to be ever so slightly more expensive but they have always been 100% reliable so they are the ones I use when I really need things to go right or quickly. MyHermes is cheaper but they have lost things of mine in the past.
