French Frolic 2020
French Frolic 2020
So after years of 'the last ever Frolic', 'last Frolic in South of France', 'last Frolic with accommodation included', 2020 is the year of the Secret Frolic. We got wind of this on ZZ19 and more details appeared when Dijon went on sale in Lotshop. The other two tracks, Chambley and Chenevieres are now on sale as trackday only. No hotel package is to be made available on Lotshop but for previous (well behaved) Frolickers an hotel and snack lunch package is available. Email Paul for details.
I was about to book when I noticed a Le Mans/Dijon double header, with or without accommodation, using the same Dijon date come online so emailed Paul and got a price for 4 tracks/ 7 nights so I booked!
Dates are
Le Mans 16/8
Dijon 18/8
Chanbley 20/8
Cheneviers 21/8
It seems a few others from the South are doing the four tracks but would be good if we could have a few Scots on the trip again.

I have signed up for the 4 above events and the related hotels. But don't tell anyone...

I quite like the look of these, Le Mans and Dijon I've done before but not in the 311, both I imagine will be pretty epic!
Also love doing new tracks and haven't been to the other 2.

Re: French Frolic 2020
its a bit of a bugger as its in the school holidays and Charlotte being 8 isn't old enough to come on the trip!
Otherwise would love to - haven't done Dijon in ages and love the place.
Le Mans is pretty awesome also.

Just had a little look to see where the other two circuits are in comparison.

Looks like Nancy would be a good base for the other 2 circuits. Is that the LoT hotel plan Gordon?

Hotels are Dijon 16th & 17th, Nancy 19th-22nd.
Been looking into Channel crossing options and Hull - Zeebrugge looks favorite for costs/road miles balance.
