Lets be honest, it was only a matter of time. Really sad for the family of those in the golf.

Mr Cooper will be thanking his lucky stars that the accident didn't happen in a more litigious country...

The Guardian online report states some more facts, like they didnt leave the scene and waited for an ambulance before leaving. Still, I am surprised it took so long for a tragedy to happen.

I've only watched a couple of gumball things on the TV, but from that I formed the opinion that most of the participants are cash rich idiots who use it as an excuse to act like kids, hanging out windows at stupid speeds and generally putting people at risk... and the speeding fines are budgeted in to the cost of their trip.

Not saying this is the case here... but, at some point, something was gonna give.
