CAT needed for S2 to borrow or buy.......help!

Post by jj » Sat Jun 02, 2007 12:29 am

Folks,

Following a bit of a fcukup on my part  I need to either borrow an S2 cat for a few weeks or if anyone is selling a decat or cat let me know.

If anyone could help me out before TT that would be superb.

cheers

JJ

I have an S2 sports cat in the garage you could borrow if you promise not to break it and bring it back afterwards (in fact it needs fitting to EGOR when you're done ;-)).

Also I am 99% sure that Andy G (not listening right now) has an 8K-miles S2 K-series cat for sale including the post cat O2 sensor - call me on 07973 391 393 if you don't have his number - also I can get access to the cat this weekend if you're in a real rush (obviously here in EDI).

If this is for MOT purposes the only slight issue you might have with the sports cat is that it needs to be quite hot for passing the test, so make sure they rev the knackers out of the car.

Cheers,
Robin

I've got the old cat from my car but I don't know what state it will be in. It's been sitting the damp boot of the TR7 for about 5 years now.

Do these things go off?

Mac
S2 Elise (cobalt blue with stripes) - toy spec
Caterham 7 - hillclimb spec
Yamaha Thundercat - 2 wheeled toy spec
