:love thats is truly lovely.

I took my father in-law to Croft for the 355 experience on his birthday and the cars there were looking a little tired (350,000km  ) so I was a little dissapointed when up close cosnidering a 355 has always been a bit of a boy-hood dream. Yours looks a million dollars better just from the photos though! :thumbsup

Ross,

Nouvalari exhaust isn't too bad on a 355, huge improvement on the standard exhaust which really is big, heavy and quiet tho. Nouvalari also do 200 cell sports cats which are less than half the price of OEM standard cats. I have them with a capristo on my spider.

My 355 had Tubi with decat pipes and was very loud. I have a mate with a Tubi and standard cats on his and it also sounds good. Think you can pick up a 2nd hand tubi for about £900/£1000 when they come up and really they are like money in the bank since they always sell if ever you changed your mind. Capristo are similar but a higher pitch scream. Again a safe bet if you can find one 2nd hand, but not noticed any. Same really for the rear challenge grill. They are about the same price new from Prosport as 2nd hand one.

I changed my wheel for the Momo Race wheel which made a great difference looks wise. Probably cost about £350 ish for the wheel and the boss and again, easily put back to normal and easy to sell the parts.

Thanks Jim. I think if I ever need to replace cats thats the way I'll go. The nouvalari sounds awesome at high revs and incredible in tunnels but at low revs i find it very boomy and intrusive. From what I've read perhaps something like a capristo level 1 would be more what I'm after, I love that scream. I've always been a fan of the standard body coloured rear panel over the challenge grill but it's definitely grown on me. How loud is your spider? :) Bet that sounds rather sweet with the roof down!!

Love it! :D

Easily the best looking F-car of recent times, imo they haven't made anything that looks better since.

One day i'll have me one!

Ross, one of our clients, in the new town had trouble with his Porsche so looked around for a garage, ended up getting a cooncil garage off Drummond Place.

Obviously not handy for you, Dalry/Haymarket, but maybe they'll have some at that end of town. IIRC it was pretty dear though.

Will do! It's never actaully graced the work car park yet. It's parked in a garage quite far from my flat so can't really commute in it without driving for 15 minutes in the opposite direction!

Cheers for that Max. It seems the council don't have any garages near my though :( Tophatron here just got a council one out in Musselburgh for his Elise but they seem more plentiful out there.

Awesome machine. Definitely the best Ferrari of recent years in my book. Timeless.

I very nearly persuaded my wife that we should buy one when we sold our house down south - probably the only chance I would ever have to own one. Unfortunately, her sense prevailed
