I agree. Its also the best colour / interior combo as well. Enjoyrenmure wrote:Fantastic!!!!
Probably still the best looking modern Ferrari IMHO
Thanks Jim. I think if I ever need to replace cats thats the way I'll go. The nouvalari sounds awesome at high revs and incredible in tunnels but at low revs i find it very boomy and intrusive. From what I've read perhaps something like a capristo level 1 would be more what I'm after, I love that scream. I've always been a fan of the standard body coloured rear panel over the challenge grill but it's definitely grown on me. How loud is your spider?renmure wrote:The_Rossatron wrote: As far as spec goes when I picked it up it was completely standard down to the original factory casette stereo, toolkit etc. and is in the rosso corsa / crema hide combo that I'd wanted since before I can even remember. Ross,
Nouvalari exhaust isn't too bad on a 355, huge improvement on the standard exhaust which really is big, heavy and quiet tho. Nouvalari also do 200 cell sports cats which are less than half the price of OEM standard cats. I have them with a capristo on my spider.
My 355 had Tubi with decat pipes and was very loud. I have a mate with a Tubi and standard cats on his and it also sounds good. Think you can pick up a 2nd hand tubi for about £900/£1000 when they come up and really they are like money in the bank since they always sell if ever you changed your mind. Capristo are similar but a higher pitch scream. Again a safe bet if you can find one 2nd hand, but not noticed any. Same really for the rear challenge grill. They are about the same price new from Prosport as 2nd hand one.
I changed my wheel for the Momo Race wheel which made a great difference looks wise. Probably cost about £350 ish for the wheel and the boss and again, easily put back to normal and easy to sell the parts.

Get a sports exhaust on
Will do! It's never actaully graced the work car park yet. It's parked in a garage quite far from my flat so can't really commute in it without driving for 15 minutes in the opposite direction!DJ wrote:Well done on going through and getting what you always wanted Ross![]()
