How could they not have sponsorship when the BBC sports personality of the year was sponsored by Robinsons?

Noticed that too :x - patiently waiting for notice of my licence fee rebate (although it did say "supported by" and not sponsored......same bloody difference.

watched it and laughed at how totally gash they were! Hilarious juts how much quicker the Stig was - lack of thought, tactic and talent, apart from the Stig who showed just how good the car was without them behind the wheel.

Too have gone along to that not having done a lap of it before, like Hammond, reminded me of Donnington - not something I'd advise! And iwasn't needing to drive it at night!

Made for great viewing though - spent a bit of it wishing we'd had a TSE entrant - what do you reckon for 2008 Mckean?

How crazy? If they can do it, surely we can. I've always wanted to drive a car that someone else has pi$$ed/vomited in. Actually, scratch that, the jakeys in Leith used to sleep/pi$$/vomit in my old green capri 'cos the doors wouldn't lock ...

So it would be much cheaper if we entered Neil's old Ibiza ...

:withstupid

Agree, the onus is on the car doing the lapping. A misunderstanding by Hammond and he turned in on the Mosler.

People at the top of their game make mistakes like that...its just what happens in racing.

Even though they came across as gash, i thought it was good that it conveyed just how tough racing actually is, and it requires a lot of money, skill, and balls, and its not just a case of sitting there driving along with the same effort as tackling the M74, which a surprising number of non-petrolheads seem to think.

Personally I thought it was irresponsible for them to have taken part and would have been hacked off as a privateer.

On another note, anyone see Suzi Perry toss off that torch ?
