You will go and drive it in the rain and in the dark! :D

Did it pull to the left after the high speed bend? North Weald is hard on the cars, eh. But great fun.

Seriously glad its getting a good spanking and giving you loads of fun. That is, after all, what these cars are all about.

Mike - you will enjoy it but be prepared for the 'niggles'.
Hi Kev

Yes, it it being WELL spanked for sure, and really liking it, perfect car for the wet weather i would say. My brain is very slowly coming back, and not telling my hands and feet to do the wrong thing, which I have to say is weird, out of it for a few years, and its like starting from scratch.

Clio 182 Trophy, very capable car. Recall the Evo issue that pitted it against the M6. Hope you had those trick Sachs dampers checked over :thumbsup

:thumbsup

My BiL got one of similar vintage a couple of months back (Albeit a more common 182 Cup in Gordini Blue with the twin white badger stripes).

Blagged a borrow a few weeks ago, and they're bloody rapid - His had horrendous lowering springs fitted, which almost caused the car to part company with the road at every bump, but now that it's back to OEM coils it's pretty sweet... I'd definitely struggle to drop him in the twisties with my S2000, and wouldn't see which way he went if the road was wet...(!)

Didn't you know you can get them refurbished? New ones are over £1k iirc

Great choice, always loved the Trophy! Great as standard, but a set of 888s or some other sticky tyres and they're fantastic on track. Mine doing a spot of 3 wheeling at Kames last weekend:

£830 for the fronts and £190 for the rears at trade  The rears can't be refurbished anyway and the fronts are £430 for standard refurb and most now need shafts as they are scored so that's now £700 so potentially only £130 difference for new plus i will sell the old shocks which more than makes up the difference :thumbsup

Could always fit other cheaper suspension but the hype behind the Trophy was all about the Sachs dampers.

Looking good Jamie, need to have a little play on track once i fit the AD08's
