daunting for a DIY newbie, but the remove and fit goes as follows:-
1:- jack up car

2:- remove undertray bolts. the 2 allen-key bolts into the chasis can be a pig, mine needed grinding off. (once they're off, throw them in the skip and put on some 13mm bolts)
3:- remove bolts holding exhaust to catalyst (or piece of scaffold depending on the previous owner's preference). These can be a real pig. Grinder may be required.
4:- Remove bolts holding on the exhaust mount to the hangars. You would be well advised to buy new rubber mounts from Geary ar Eliseparts.com, as they'll likely be near the end of their useful life.
5:- get help from a friend to hold exhaust whilst the last bolts are undone (or balance the silencer on your bonce) and remove the old exhaust.
Repeat in reverse to fit new noisey zorst. If you've got an older car, make sure that the clam aperture can take the tailpipe. Earlier cars have a 'sculpted' hole in the shape of a twin tailpipe, so fitting an oval is impossible without a hacksaw.
While you're on eliseparts.com, get some new exhaust gaskets too. If memory serves, that's all there is to it. Someone will no doubt correct me
