I've done a quick-and-dirty trawl of the 1400-odd images I took today - the gallery is up on my site http://www.Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com

Image

Quite a few of the images are a bit ho-hum, really, but there should be several images of each car at least. I have done nothing to them in terms of tweaks either - I might create a more selective gallery when I've got time.

I rarely visit this site (dunno why, looks like I should add it to my usual haunts) - so contact via either the AR7E site or Jock Sevens is[/img]

If you all had fun then there should be a good turn out for some auto-testing next year - Ed, why don't you liaise with Dom and identify some suitable candidate dates and try and organise a group entry ... I've only done two or three but I've had terrific fun at each of them - just never organised enough to know what event is coming up and organising the time to do it.

Cheers,
Robin

Dave,

If you want to embed the images - right-click and get the 'image location' rather than linking to the page itself...

I'm running no-excuses Canon kit:

1D mk 3 body
Most of the images were taken with a Canon 300mm f/2.8 image-stabilised ('IS') 'L-series' lens (Jason had the Nikon equivalent today). A lot of them were also taken with a 1.4x teleconverter (making 420mm actual focal-length) - it's amazing how 'long' you need to go to get a car to fill the image.

Some were taken with a 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L. I've got a number of other L-series lenses etc. - but the kit above did most of the damage.

There are a number of keen snappers around (including Jason, Fergus et al) - perhaps we should all meet up for a trackday-challenge or something. It's great to bounce ideas and tricks around.

:D
