Thanks Ken

Seems that you know more about the situation after speaking to him, so we will sit back and wait.

Confident that he will be back before too long.

Hmm, well I hadn't posted until now but mostly cos I hadn't read the thread and assumed it was one of Neil's random drink-fuelled posts that don't make much sense. And I was right

WTF are you on about Neil?
Drunk v's Sober....
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

We often said "Scottish Elises...not just a car club...more a way of life" :-)

When your life has space for SE, it makes space for you...and then its very magnetic and generally welcoming nature quite often consumes you. I've had it tight from her indoors more than once about the amount of time I spend "on that bl**dy email" (even though it's now a BBS!!).

Ironically, I even got a row last night for a 15 minute lapse, but I've seen the error of my ways which is why I've sneaked out of bed at 6.30 to post this before I get caught ;-)

On a serious note...people's priorities change, and in the original sense of community, we should respect that. There is room for everyone here...and we can also give everyone some room when they need it.

So all the best to Neil, and others who have taken a break from what many of us feel we could literally not live without! Thanks to the efforts of many over some 8 years now, SE will still be alive and kicking when you have the time to dip in again.

Campbell that is such a good message :thumbsup

This is quite an unique forum with some amazing people with all kinds of special talents and very different opinions & views on the world. The support you get off the guys and girls on here is breathtaking at times. You are never without a friend in this group of people.

We are all very lucky to be part of it. 8)

One of the advantages of being in the Darby and Joan Club, is that Verian does not mind the time that I spend on the computer, she is just concerned that the posture may not be good for my neck/back.
