Just found this about the Pub on BestPub.co.uk sounds like Mr Stein did not get anywhere with that barmaid
Thankfully there are positive reviews too

mr stein - shambles
the staff are unwilling to help, too busy chatting among themselves or their friends. manners would help. food was ok, nothing special not highly recommended unless starving or everywhere else closed

Guys, I am taking a Transit van down as the tow vehicle, so if anybody wants wheels/tools etc taken down, there is plenty of room.

Jamie

We will not be eating, or even drinking in the Hotel, tis just a bed for the night.

The centre of Louth is just down the road.

right chaps - I'm taking Ed with me heading south - leaving Edi about 11am, heading to my folks for lunch, leaving there 1.30/2-ish.

Think Dan is bringing Ed's car to Cadwell on the Sunday, so we'll just be heading straight to the hotel - reindezvous in the bar???

I have to collect my helmet from KH and my car from Dans.
I was hoping to collect the windscreen and roll bar thing but it will add a sh1t load of miles. I am not sure if I will have the time.

Will let you know later on in the week?

What route is best for you?

There is a guy on LOT selling his place if anyone is interested?

I might even have a spare bed as we are struggling to get a dog sitter/kennel, so Jackie might be staying at home?

Shoomer are you still looking for a bed? I can also give you a lift down and back?

Guys,

I think I am going to chicken out of this w/e. Combination of weather forecast and having just completed a 1500 mile trip over two days, to Holland and France to collect some stuff, I am not sure if I can be bothered driving a trailer for another 900 miles this w/e. I also have to be back in the office first thing Monday.

Iain was also going to be coming with me to share the driving, but he has work commitments now as well.

Feeble excuse I know!!

Tut, that will leave Brian J in a room on his own, hope thats OK.

Anybody wants to buy my place, I am open to offers £100, a bargain.
