OK, I've booked and paid for all the trackdays but now don't have a car.

Bit of a long shot I know but anyone got a spare car they want to lend me to trundle round and round in circles in france for a week then up and down a few small hills called 'the alps'? :D

Failing that I can try and get money back from LoT and go back to plan A which was paxing but was really looking forward to driving in the alps. :(

I've even been (crazily) contemplating buying something for the trip but without enough time either end it looks like a non-starter.

I was talking to Mckean the other night and he has been so busy that this has been put on the back burner.

Its been a while since we last talked about the second week and as we are only 6 weeks away I thought we better get a move on. I know Robin and Neil spent some time on Routes and e-mailing hotels but nothing has been booked yet.

I am willing to spend some time sorting this out, if you want?

I believe that there are a few people having second thoughts about the second week. I got some of these names off of the LOT website. Sorry if I missed you out.

Scotty C return sailing date 17th, 2nd week, willing to share a twin
Ali C return sailing date 17th, 2nd week, willing to share a twin
Broon 7
Robbie M
Lawrence
Tut return sailing date 17th, 2nd week, willing to share a twin
Mckean
Kelvin return with LOT on the 12th
Robin return with LOT on the 12th
Andy G return sailing date 17th, 2nd week,
Ed return with LOT on the 12th
Tom return with LOT on the 12th
Steve Brand & Kate return with LOT on the 12th

If your are now not doing the second week just put down return with LOT on the 8th. If you are still going can you please add if you will be taking a pax and what type of room you require? (single, double or a twin room)

Once we get a final number I can look into it a bit more.

Neil can you confirm that Paul Golding has booked the crossings for us returning Friday the 17th.

Scotty C

PS can one of the Mod’s please make sure that this post stays at the top of the list? Thanks

Doing first week but not second - just cannot afford the time with all the racing stuff & wanting to spend some time with the family - so will be in England for the second week ...

Scotty,

I'm not doing the second week either now. I'll be heading back to Scotland to spend it with my family instead so coming back with the LoT lot...I might need a lift up to Edinburgh if anyone is heading that way :D

Cheers
Kelvin.

Scotty

As long as I am fit for the two weeks, I am still planning to do the whole trip.

I am going back into Hospital on July 4th to see if they can do anything about the numbness in my legs that is coming back, but I think the operation that I had was their only hope.

However if it takes its time, FF6 is only six weeks away, so optimistic, and want to get as much in whilst I still can.

We spoke on the phone about options for the second week, so if it now only looks like Andy, yourself and me, maybe we should play it off the cuff and not pre book.
